Mr. Sporty Sport.
Parker has become a
triathelete. For the past few weeks he's been
finishing up basketball season with his Longhorns team (two practices plus a game each week), getting soccer underway with the Celtics (two practices plus a game each week) and starting on the Rockhounds baseball team for the first time (three two-hour practices a week). On most days he seems to have two sports in succession but he is really great about giving his best each every time he's there. He has great coaches for all three of his sports-- we feel very lucky about that as it makes all the difference. His coaches have been very understanding when PK has had conflicts.
And when he's not at practice you can usually find him in the driveway shooting baskets, in the backyard practicing for baseball, or up the street playing football with his friends. What can we say? He loves sports, loves to compete, loves to win (sometimes a little too much).
As long as I'm bragging on my PK, did I mention he's a straight A student and has one of the kindest hearts you'll ever meet in your life? What a cool kid. How'd we get so lucky?
I just love that little guy...
