ICE STORM
The kids woke up this morning complaining because after two days off of school, they were growing pretty accustomed to lounging around.
There is just nothing like waking up at 4:30am only to realize that you can go right back to bed because mother nature has given you an excuse for a temporary shut down.
So, we all played hookey. (Even Dean Foods was closed-although most of the die-hards [You know, those that even if they won the lottery would keep on working because they just LOVE it!] went in late morning-luckily, this does not include my husband).

We found lots of ways to pass the time-the older boys spent a lto fo time at the Community Activity Center with their friends playing basketball, soccer, etc. Cam finished up some Christmas projects, Maddie lounged around, and of course, there was plenty of Wii time.
(Uh, yeah, that last one is of me doing dishes-evidently a day off for me means staying home and working for free! :) Just kidding-I loved it!)
