This year we decided to let the kids take over their own Halloween costume designs. We gave them a budget of $15 that they could use how they pleased. Any of the money not used for costumes, they could pocket. We were impressed with their frugality.

Maddie=$3.00 for a broom (re-used costume we had)
Cambren=$0.00 (re-used costume we had)
Parker=$0.00 (made costume of clothes he had-he was Calvin)
Tanner=$7.00 for a sheet

Mom and dad not stressing about all the money spent on Halloween costumes or what the kids would wear=priceless

Barry and I attended a "grown up" Halloweeen party this year. It was fun picking our costumes. We had a great time seeing everyone's creativity, playing games, eating great food, and visiting with friends! Thanks for all your hard work Amy and Kay!
