Grandma & Grandpa Sievert's Visit Deemed a Success!

Now that the poison oak (See Cam's photo) has pretty much gone (Thank you for the aloe Mom-it helped!), the kids say they enjoyed Grandpa and Grandma's visit. No, seriously, we really did love having them here. Grandpa cleared paths through the woods for the kids, planted a melon patch for Cambren, and showed them the difference between a doe track and a buck track. Grandma played Skunk, Candyland, (Which, if you ask me, it takes a special kind of patience to play that game!)puzzles, and Suduko with them.

We are really so grateful that they took the time to come down to Texas even though they didn't get much of a break from the cold Wisconsin weather the week they were here. It is great that they play so much with the kids. We appreciate it and the kids just love it. Every time Cambren wanted to go into the woods, Grandpa would oblige-even if they had just come out! Thanks for planting the flowers Dad!

It was a bit of a crazy time and Barry had to work more than he would have liked. We did get to take them out on the boat-it was freezing and raining, miserable boating weather really-but, at least we were able to show them the lake!

We are also glad they were able to be here for Parker's baptism, it made the time all that more special.

P.S. I am sure that Mom and Dad are crushed that the democrats swept the election, but I bet it makes Fox News more interesting! We love you guys!
