OUR NEW HOUSE
Well, the start of our new house anyway. After much indecision (Those of you in Texas know what I am talking about!), we have decided! And, if I'm posting it on the blog it has to happen, right? No changing our minds now!
We are going to build in The Preserve at Pecan Creek. This is our lot. 
Not much to look at right now really. It backs up to Corps of Engineer property as did our last house, so we are excited about that. We have taken several hikes back there and it is nice. We are on a cul de sac at the back of the neighborhood. There will be three other homes on the cul de sac and the lots are all sold, so we will have neighbors when we move in. We will have to be patient for that move in as it will probably take 6 months to build. We are glad to have a place to stay in the mean time.

We have made a few modifications-extended the front and back porches, enlarged the nook, added a butler's pantry, enlarged the utility room, and our garage will be a side swing with a enlarged separate 3rd bay (which has a half bath so we are all set for a pool) at the back of the house. We did get the optional media room and powder bath shower. So, there you go!
I'll post the progress as we go-not as exciting as a new baby (Joy & Rachel!), but if you have nothing better to do, you can follow our build.
